Questions

When is the income tax return due?

For individuals and AOPs, normally by 30 September after the tax year ends on 30 June. FBR sometimes extends the date by circular, so check the current deadline with us.

Why does the Active Taxpayer List matter?

Being on the ATL lowers withholding tax on many transactions (property, banking, vehicles). Since Finance Act 2026, a late filer pays a surcharge (Rs 25,000 for an individual) to be added.

Can you file my return while I live in the UAE?

Yes. Everything is done online on IRIS; we only need your documents and your approval.
